In The Mind of Another.

The inspiration for this series of photographs came to me in 2016, when a dear friend was in an accident that led to a diagnosis of epilepsy. The idea was to portray how specific psychological disorders effect an individual through the artistic appeal of double exposure.

Overall, these photographs are meant to have a dynamic view as representations of disorders that many have to live with every day. Mental health is too often neglected and dismissed as frivolous and effect many people I care about.

Since this began in the small town of Vail, Colorado, the series begins with a piece from there, which inspired subsequent displays. Each photograph includes people living with the disorder being depicted and therefore, their personal details are kept anonymous.
